Camerata Flamenco Project

Camerata Flamenco Project is a music band integrated by Jose Luis López, Pablo Suárez and Ramiro Obedman.
Their more than 15 years path brought them to widely tour at the most important world festivals, either in Flamenco, Jazz or Classical scopes.
This contemporary and avant-garde way to face Music took them to collaborate with diverse artists like
Carmen Linares, JM Cañizares, the Avanti Symphonic Orchestra of Finland, Jorge Pardo, Rafaela Carrasco and many others,
with different formations, from Trio to Full Orchestra.
Another action line is divulgation and teaching,
through their Flamenco Mastercourses, given in Rotterdam, Dublin, Helsinki and Madrid among others.

JOSE LUIS LÓPEZ

He made his musical training with maestro Enrique Correa in Madrid.
In 1990, he won the First Prize for interpretation at the "Madrid Joven 90" Music Competition. Later he perfected his artistic training with the master Mikhail Khomitser.
He developed and investigated the inclusion of the Violoncello in flamenco,
giving it a totally personal style. In 2002 he won the Composition Award, for the best original music for dance in the "XI" International Choreography Contest of Flamenco and Spanish Dance ".
In 2004, he recorded his album" Soleando Suite "live at the" Royal Concertgebouw "in Amsterdam.

RAMIRO OBEDMAN

Ramiro Obedman is a musician who combines both sides of Music,
playing and composing, and has been since long time ago moving around stylistic versatility.
This made him explore Jazz, Tango, Classical and World Music, even though Flamenco was his main hobbyhorse, and the style where he developed his musical personality and engaged to Flamenco sound his wind instruments.

PABLO SUÁREZ


His musical experience is rooted in all Flamenco disciplines: singing, dancing, guitar and stagingof big companies shows.
Called as composer, performer and musical director in many troupes.
He shares this knowledge with a constant pursuit, where Music is the aim. He found in his piano a personal exposure way.
