He made his musical training with maestro Enrique Correa in Madrid.
In 1990, he won the First Prize for interpretation at the "Madrid Joven 90" Music Competition. Later he perfected his artistic training with the master Mikhail Khomitser.
He developed and investigated the inclusion of the Violoncello in flamenco,
giving it a totally personal style. In 2002 he won the Composition Award, for the best original music for dance in the "XI" International Choreography Contest of Flamenco and Spanish Dance ".
In 2004, he recorded his album" Soleando Suite "live at the" Royal Concertgebouw "in Amsterdam.
Ramiro Obedman is a musician who combines both sides of Music,
playing and composing, and has been since long time ago moving around stylistic versatility.
This made him explore Jazz, Tango, Classical and World Music, even though Flamenco was his main hobbyhorse, and the style where he developed his musical personality and engaged to Flamenco sound his wind instruments.
His musical experience is rooted in all Flamenco disciplines: singing, dancing, guitar and stagingof big companies shows.
